We are here for you in these uncertain times.
With Covid-19 now officially a global pandemic and many countries in total lockdown, it is no surprise that there is a growing sense of alarm and uncertainty across the country.
Over the past few weeks we have seen sales start to ramp up in number and size, culminating in an unprecedented number of orders over the weekend.
We understand, we all want to ensure our families have plenty of nutritious food in store in case any quarantine measures are instigated in the future.
We just want to reassure you that:
We do not envision any problems with supply or delivery in the coming months
Even in the countries with the most severe shut-downs, food production and home delivery services are all still running normally.
People need food, and home delivery is a much safer way to get it than visiting the supermarket in terms of limiting the spread of the virus. There is no reason to think that there should be any halt to any part of our service.
From your side we would like to please ask for two things:
- Your patience
Due to the unprecedented number of orders over the weekend, it is possible that there will be some delays – we can only pack so many orders in one day.
Rest assured all orders will be delivered ASAP, with at most a delay of 1-2 working days if any.
If you have already placed an order, we will contact you directly if it is to be delayed.
If you are planning on placing an order, please bare in mind that we may not be able to guarantee the delivery day that you choose.
- Please don’t panic buy
Ordering some extra meat is a sensible precaution at a time like this, and it makes sense to have the freezer well stocked just in case.
As we don’t anticipate any break in service however, it’s probably not necessary to order huge quantities – this puts additional strain on the team, increases likelihood of delays for everyone, and may leave some people without.
We can handle reasonable increases in normal volume without issue, but if everyone starts ordering more than double the normal volume all at once, it’s going to be very difficult for us to keep up. We hope you understand.
As always, we very much appreciate your custom, and wish you all the best during these difficult times.
Our thoughts are especially with any of you who have been personally affected by the virus, and of course with our dedicated and brave health workers holding the front line!
