The animals we farm (cattle, sheep and pigs) are not vaccinated.
Vaccination is permitted under the organic farming regulations, but as our animals are well cared for and sufficiently isolated from other farms we’ve never had any kind of disease outbreak.
The chickens, supplied by Springfield Poultry, have an initial vaccination at 1 day old. These vaccinations are an industry standard to prevent against Marek’s diseases, bronchitis and coccidiosis. No additional vaccinations are provided through the birds life.
