How Long Are Animals Suckled By Their Mothers?

Our pigs, sheep and cows are all suckled by their mothers until they are weaned onto pasture.

Pigs are on the sow for 6-10 weeks and we only farrow the sows twice a year.

Calves are suckled for at least 9 months.

Lambs are at least 9 months and are more hoggit than spring lamb.
