Half Pig FAQ
Q) When will my half-pig be delivered?
A) Your half-pig will be delivered within 1-2 weeks on a weekday, Tuesday-Friday.
We will notify you via email at least 3 working days beforehand of the exact delivery day via email.
If for any reason the proposed date doesn’t work for you, please respond to the email confirming the date ASAP and we can reschedule.
Q) What different butchery options do I have?
A) You can swap packs of mince for packs of sausages (any variety we have available at the time of purchase).
You can also substitute a 1.5kg leg joint for 3 x 400g packs of diced pork (or vice versa).
After you’ve placed your order, please email us by replying to the order confirmation email telling us how many (if any) packs of sausages you’d like (and what variety), and how many (if any) packs of diced meat.
Q) How many packs of sausages can I have?
A) You can have up to 6 packs. A pack of mince can be swapped for a pack of sausages, so every pack of sausages is one pack of mince less. You could have 3 and 3, 2 and 4 etc. The choice is yours.
Q) How many packs of diced meat can I have?
A) You can have up to 9 packs. Each 1.5kg leg joints can be made into 3 x 400g packs of diced meat, so every 3 packs of diced is one leg joint less. You could have 2 leg joints and 3 packs, 1 and 6 etc. The choice is yours.
Q) Can I have the whole pig unbutchered for a hog roast?
A) We can’t send a whole unbutchered pig via the mail, but if you can come to us to collect we can arrange for you:
