New Packaging + Return Reward Scheme
We have two new exciting announcements this week with regards to our eco-friendly insulating packaging!
Over the past months we’ve been experimenting with different insulation options in order to find the optimum packaging solution.
It’s essential that your fresh organic meat arrives in perfect condition, while at the same time we want to ensure that the packaging has the smallest possible footprint.
The results are now in, and we can announce that Puffin Packaging win hands (or should that be wings?) down.
Wool liners make use of a meat production by product and are highly effective insulators. They can be reused multiple times, and when disposed of biodegrade into compost!
Eco Chill Packs are made with biomarine content, and have very low carbon footprint. The gel is inert and non-toxic, and the wrapper recyclable.

The next exciting update is that the durable and hygienic Puffin Wool Liners can be returned to us for re-use. This makes them even more sustainable!
We can’t collect directly as we use a 3rd party courier, but we’ve partnered with Collect+ so you can easily drop off the liners. There are over 7500 Collection points nation wide, so there’ll be one nearby the next time you’re out and about.

If dropping off liners is not convenient for you, no problem! Just pop them on your compost heap if you have one, or in the general waste if not, and they’ll quickly decompose into natural fertiliser.
